Shirtless Barefoot Run

General info

1. Date: Feb. 24 (Sat.), 2018
2.Time: 11:00 a.m.
3. Start: Daegwanryeong Experience School
4. Transportation options:
  1) Take KTX to Gangreung (강릉) and get  off at Jinbu Station (진부역)
      Transfer to a free shuttle bus at Jinbu Station
      It will drive you to Hwoenggye Bus Terminal in 10 - 15 minutes
  2) Take an express bus to Gangreung and gett off at Hwoenggye (횡계) 
       Bus Terminal, just before Gangreung
  3) Shuttles to the school are ready for you at the bus terminal
5. Accommodation: available before or after the event
   - in a guest house room for four to six people
   - 25,000 KW per person (including a breakfast)
   - same price even for children
6. Courses
  A. 8km: School - Yongcheon - Mt. King's forestroad - School 
  B. 4km: School - Hwayakgol - Yongcheon - School 
  Courses can be changed, depending on the quality of snow in forests
7. Preparations: beanie, ear mask, gloves and others
8. Give-aways: neck warmer, ankle sleeves, two hot packs, chocolate,
                       lunch (rice cake soup), coffee/hot chocolate

Participation
1. Number of participants: limited to 333
                                      confirmed in the first-enrolled (paid) order
2. Age: above 9 years old
3. Registration: before the event only
                       (on-site registration unavailable)
4. Deadline: January 31
5. Participation fee: 30,000 KW (including lunch and give-away supplies)
                          same for child and adult

Special notes:
Locally-licensed village vehicles only are allowed to drive in the area due 
to Pyeongchang Winter Olympic Games. All other vehicles are guided to an outskirt parking lot, and drivers should take the Olympics shuttle to the town.
